Why is it when a couple marry that a guy wants a woman to stay the same and she changes.

And a woman wants a guy to stay change but he stays the same?

There lays the problems where most relationships go tits up

In which case, my advice would have been for her.

Since you brought it up, rather chivalrously, I was always found to be the one at fault and nagged to 'change'. Everything from sarcasm to body language, to "not being like my mates' birds", to clothes. Turns out I'm very far from perfect. Who would have guessed?

"I have a revolutionary idea: don't marry someone who annoys you, because they won't change, the effort is futile, and it kind of makes you a nasty little tyrant."

She never did nothing to annoy me before we were married, she couldn't have been more accommodating, all this came out AFTER we were married and in any case, with your record in relationships, I'm not sure you are the right person to give advice :-)

That's my advice for both* sexes.

Anyone who hangs toilet paper away from the seat, facing towards the wall, is a wrongun. FACT.

Re: Weird things your missus/old girlfriend does/did
...........or have an affair with her sister. Or mother.........

These things normally are a family thing and that would be out of the pot and in to the frying pan.

I've found that not taking a blind bit of notice of moaning about things like leaving the toilet seat up stopped Mrs Oh Dear moaning about this sort of shit. And in fact I would leave the toilet seat up at every available opportunity - even if I hadn't used it, walking past the loo, lean in and put the seat up, have a shower, leave the seat up. Go into the loo to hang new towels up, leave the seat up.

All that petty moaning seemed to vanish, it hasn't stopped her being as stubborn as a mule or moaning about the important things though.

Re: Weird things your missus/old girlfriend does/did
How to hang lavatory paper is a really stupid thing to nag someone about.

Maybe you should start knocking her about, or have an affair with her sister. Or mother. Currently she seems slightly neurotic without something important to worry about. You'd be doing her a favour.

Toilet roll should always hang over, rather than under. Anyone who says differently is clearly a nonce.

Far Cough

You can put a toilet roll on in one of two ways, which are both different - but neither could be described as the wrong way.
